Hey, my name is Naveena, welcome to my page! When I was 18, I had a radical experience with the Lord, which started my journey into living this radically new life. It has not always been sunshine and rainbows. On this page, I aim to talk about the hard topics, the niche topics, and even the fun ones, but ultimately, what the Holy Spirit is leading me to talk about. I want to discuss topics that we as Christians are navigating in this day and age, in the 21st century of artificial intelligence and identity crisis, and point it back to Jesus and what the bible says.
I have always had a passion for words, and I have wanted to make a blog for a long time. A couple of years ago, I wanted the contents of my blog to be somewhat of a journal style. Now, I have shifted to a different direction, which is not too far off from my original idea in a sense. What gave me a second wave of inspiration to officially start a blog was Jesus. It was daunting to think about making this somewhat of a personal journal style, so I never did anything about it. Jesus has called me to step out in faith to start a YouTube channel. I did, reluctantly. Preparing for my long-form videos gave me the idea to start this blog.
Thus began my journey into the digital world. Here I was waiting on God to tell me what to do, but, in fact, just like his character, he was patiently waiting for me to ask. He could give me directions on where to go and what to do, but he gives me the choice to follow that path, wanting it for myself, not just because I was told to.
If you are familiar with the bible, the title of my page comes from John 15, which is one of my all-time favorite passages. It is a reminder that no matter where we go or what we do apart from Him, we cannot accomplish it. So, I pray that no matter where we are or what we are doing, we can invite Jesus into it. I welcome you and thank you for coming along with me on this journey of walking out what it looks like to abide in Jesus.
